2 Minute Mile is a crunchy first-gen punk/garage band from K-Town LA playing fast, hook-filled songs
with a fun vibe and sharp(ened) lyrics. Over the last several years, they’ve played throughout LA and
Orange County, grabbing fans with their energetic stage show, and along the way, airplay on indie punk
stations and podcasts, including Rodney’s Underground Garage show on Sirius XM. Maximum Rock and
Roll called their debut CD K-Town 3 a.m. “dumb fun in the best way” while others have likened their
political satire on songs like “Border Patrol” and “Foreign Policy” to early DK’s. Other songs take on
subjects such as L.A. traffic (“Road Rage”); high school life (“Guillermo is a Narc”); adult working life
(“Just a Cog”); and LGBTQ+ rights (“Joyride”).
Now recording their second full-length CD, the band is Scott Brown (bass/vocals), Edwin Galan
(drums/vocals), and Brayan Ortega (guitar/vocals).
